Dr. Debasish Sinha and the Dream Team received an RO1 grant from the National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health to develop the project titled "Targeting lysosome/RPE heterogeneity in AMD pathobiology as a novel therapy". The major goal of this project is to establish the novel concept of lysosome/autophagy dysfunction as a key driver of RPE heterogeneity in atrophic AMD.
The research will be funded from 6/1/2021 till 5/31/2025.
